About Our Director
Patricia Plummer has led a very interesting life, seeing the Lord work through her and around her with His heart of compassion for the hurting. Pat sees herself as a simple person in need of God’s grace, but capable of any feat with the anointing of the Lord. Her adventure for life has led her down many roads in which she has seen Him work miraculously through impossible circumstances.
At an early age she grasped many scriptures indicating that we are to “live by faith, not by sight” [2 Corinthians 5:7]. With this faith, she started trusting the Lord and seeing Him work physically around her.
As a child, she had many illnesses including rheumatic fever. Around age 9 she had both double pneumonia and bronchitis at the same time, and the beginnings of 25 years of rheumatoid arthritis. She remembers the doctor coming to their home and telling her mother to “Watch her carefully” after he had examined her. Being frightened, she remembered that her mother had said that she could call upon Jesus for any problems. Immediately she said “Jesus, please don’t let me die.” She heard an audible voice that said, “You will live.” She also saw words circling the ceiling of the room like a ticker tape repeating, “You will live, you will live, you will live…” She didn’t see that as anything unusual because of her understanding that Jesus was real, and that He was simply speaking to her to answer her plea. She told others about what the Lord said to her, and their comprehension wasn’t what she expected. Her mother believed her, but others didn’t.
She learned at an early age that many people didn’t know who Jesus was, and didn’t know that He talks to them, if they talk with Him. So as a young girl, she told others about Him by knocking on doors of homes in order to pray for people, or by stopping people on the streets as the Lord privately showed her the needs of these strangers. She also wrote her testimony, which continued to grow through the years with more personal encounters with the Lord, and handed it out to people.
She calls herself a “walking miracle” because of so many illnesses, injuries, then healings. Even during the time when she walked for 25 years with pain 24/7 throughout her body from the rheumatoid arthritis until the day of her healing, the Lord taught her about His compassion for others. She had varied experiences with the Lord, seeing Him work through her prayers for others. He would give her insight into people’s lives that would change their lives from paths of suffering [whether emotional or physical], addictions, and walking without Jesus. She knew that there was only one way to happiness, and that was with Jesus.
As Pat speaks in churches about prayer, and how to receive answers from Him, she gives many experiences of her day to day journey with Him. She believes that the first-hand experience of learning about the Lord is to be shared with all that she encounters.
If Pat were asked “How should I pray in order to receive answers?” — her simple answer would be… “I listen for His voice. He tells me what to pray. I only pray what He tells me to pray. He often shows me words that appear in front of me and pictures and visions. Then I just listen, and repeat what He tells me to pray. That way I know that I’ll receive His perfect answers for that person, whether they want to know His heart about their job, their health, their relationships or whatever. I listen for Him to speak to me, and then I allow His words to flow through me. I just wait upon Him. I can even feel His Presence flowing through me, and others tell me that they can feel His Presence around me, too.”
Pat says that the Bible has so much depth in it. At a young age, Pat knew what scriptures would lead her:
John 4:34 – “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.”
Luke 1:37 – “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me
and to finish his work.” (John 4:34)
