Labor and Rest
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)
“Do you ask yourself ‘Why are there only so many hours in a day? Why do I have so much to do?’
Realize that I am the One who made the day and night. I formed the stars, moon and sun. Your work day is only meant to have a limited number of hours. Don’t let anxiety overtake you.
Acknowledge times of rest and times of work as equally important.
I want to see your smiles during times of rest, so you can carry them over to times of labor. Allow the balance to be there.
I am the One who assists you in your accomplishments anyway, so don’t be fearful of moments and times of rest.
Where is your focus? Pursue goodness and all My attributes even in your labors. When I was a carpenter, I had the same attributes as when I loved My disciples into My Kingdom. I did not have 2 personalities. Stand before Me and stand before your labors with the same focus and personality. Be Me in all that you do, and your labors will not be as heavy.”
